We decided to drop by TGI Friday for dinner today, as usual their business is brisk, service is prompt and food is delectable. Something commendable is their constant update of the menu, to bring us new food items on the menu or with their set promotion. A good move I reckon, to keep the customers coming back for more repeatedly. They have something new this time, named "Small Plates" each costing RM10.90 with 4 different items to select from (i.e. Broccoli Risotto Balls, Stuffed Mushrooms, Jamaican Beef Empanadas and Eggplant Rollatini).

My favourite, Beef Ribs with BBQ sauce. The meat is tender and falls off the bone easily. A very filling and hearty meal for me indeed, excellent food to load up with after a session at the gym.

I opt to go with the Broccoli Risotto Balls. To be frank, I'm slighly disappointed, moulding up some risotto balls then deep fried before placing it beside some poached broccoli isn't really what I'm expecting.Next time shall try out the remaining others.

My dad orders the Chicken with Peppers and Mushrooms. His favourite, I suppose that's because it's one of the few mains that comes with rice.

Tennessee Steak. Australian air-flown steak with Tennessee sauce. My brother commented the sauce was sweeter and that he preferred the other variation, with Jack Daniel sauce.

Beef Bacon Cheeseburger. Doesn't it look just mouthwatering ? I certainly do, with the melted cheese, beef patty and bacon ! A soft spot for such sinful food. Hehe.

[Updated 24/02/2015] There is a new ongoing promotion which allows you to have a choice of 1 appetizer and 2 main courses from a list of selections, at just MYR45.90++. This is really value for money ! And an additional Friday Sundae for just MYR10 (usual price is MYR16.90).

I ordered the Nacho Chilli Roll (tortilla roll filled with cream cheese and spicy chilli beef, topped with melted Colby cheese and fresh corn pico de gallo) as my choice of appetizer.

Another appetizer Loaded Mashed Potato Cakes (mashed potato with Colby-Parmesan cheese mix, topped with beef bacon and caramelized onion).

An extra side which we ordered beyond the ongoing Meal-For-2 promotion. Fridays Three-For-All platter features a trio of their most popular appetizers - Potato skin with beef bits; Fried Mozzarella; Spicy Buffalo Wings, complete with sour cream, marinara sauce and celery.

Part of our main for the Meal-For-2 promotion, Wild Mushroom Farfalle. A simple dish with fresh crimini, shitake and button mushroom sauteed with farfalle pasta.

Chilli & Garlic Shrimp pasta was another of our main, and it was a notch better than the Farfalle in my opinion. Recommended to try this out for pasta lovers as it strikes a balance without being over-garlicky and spicy as the Aglio Olio.

Outrageous Sliced Beef Taco topped with frizzled onions. I love the beef strips in the Tacos and its a refreshing addition to the usual pasta or steaks.

Last but not least, Fish & Chips served with fries and tartar sauce.

Food: 7.5/10
Price: 6.5/10
Service: 8/10
Conclusion: Service is still prompt as usual, the one which they have is the consistency in their service standards. Although the place was jam packed this time, but there is no drop in the quality of their food. Everything is grilled or done up to standard, esp the steaks. Recommended :)
